ATM it is not hurting anything, and I'm amazed with the quality increase after installing the mod.Īll that to say, meh, tired of tinkering with it. The Beth released the beta which supposedly fixed it to ignore desktop resolution, but after their 2nd update, it wasn't clear to me if that fix had been negated. Some asynch repro of course given my i3770k/980ti, but good grief, what a huge difference.Įdit: I *did* go back and set DSR factors in Nvidia CP to 2X (I'm running 2K monitor so if 1080 it would be 4K), bounced and set desktop resolution to that new resution, per the *original* workaround for this mess.

Much less blurry, much less stairstepping etc. All I can say is after installing that mod, with just TAA enabled by default (tweaks above in ini of course), the quality *drastically* increased. And of course only Allow Async Repro is enabled. In SteamVR, obviously Enable Advanced Supersampling Rendering = enabled, and I only have mine set at 1.3 right now. I'll leave out the prefs ini as those the OP posted are very similar to my own.

I have only installed one mod per the OP - Vivid Fallout - All in One - Best Choice (manually). I wanted to keep this bumped to say what a huge difference this made in my gameplay. I have read that 1.0 is the equivalent to the native resolution of the Vive but can't corroborate.
